Macron: l'Ucraina deve poter "neutralizzare" le basi in Russia

Meseberg, 28 mag. (askanews) - Fornire all'Ucraina delle armi a lungo raggio capaci di colpire installazioni militari in territorio russo non costituirebbe una escalation del conflitto: lo ha dichiarato il presidente francese, Emmanuel Macron. "Rimaniamo quindi esattamente nello stesso quadro. Pensiamo che dobbiamo permettere loro di neutralizzare i siti militari da cui vengono lanciati i missili e, in sostanza, i siti militari da cui viene attaccata l'Ucraina. Ma non dobbiamo permettere che vengano colpiti altri obiettivi in Russia e ovviamente capacità civili o altri obiettivi militari. Non vogliamo una escalation in Ucraina, ma come possiamo fornire armi all'Ucraina e dire che non possono usarle per la propria difesa?", ha spiegato Macron, che ha parlato in conferenza stampa congiunta con il Cancelliere tedesco Olaf Scholz.
