È stata eseguita, tramite iniezione letale, la condanna a morte di Marcellus “Khaliifah” Williams, il 55enne afroamericano che è stato condannato per un omicidio commesso nel 1998 e per il quale si era sempre dichiarato innocente. L’esecuzione è avvenuta al Potosi Correctional Center di Mineral Point dopo che sono falliti i tentativi legali di scagionarlo.
