Addio alle microplastiche, dagli Stati Uniti una ricetta sostenibile

(Adnkronos) - Micro e nanoplastiche hanno raggiunto un tale grado di diffusione nell'ambiente da essere presenti nei cibi e nelle bevande che consumiamo tutti i giorni, come l'acqua, con importanti conseguenze per la salute del nostro organismo. Un gruppo di ricerca dell'Università del Missouri, negli Stati Uniti, avrebbe trovato una soluzione sostenibile a questo problema. Grazie all'azione di un solvente non inquinante, infatti, gli esperti sarebbero riusciti a rimuovere dall'acqua il 98% dei corpi estranei. La ricerca è recentemente comparsa sulle colonne di “Acs Applied Engineering Materials”.
