Alluvione a Minorca, persone salvate in elicottero

Roma, 16 ago. (askanews) - Una ventina di persone sono state soccorse in elicottero dalla polizia spagnola a Minorca. Nelle immagini diffuse dalla Guardia Civil si vede il salvataggio di persone rimaste bloccate nelle abitazioni, o salite sui tetti per sfuggire alle inondazioni improvvise causate dalle forti piogge che hanno colpito l'isola delle Baleari, in particolare la zona di Mercadal. Sono stati tratti in salvo anche alcuni animali. Le piogge forti e abbondanti in poco tempo, dopo un'ondata di caldo estremo, hanno colpito anche altre parti della Spagna e il maltempo è atteso nelle prossime ore anche in Italia.
