"Aprire le strade della pace in Medioriente e Ucraina": l'appello di Papa Francesco

L'appello di Papa Francesco, dopo la recita dell'Angelus in Piazza San Pietro: "Continuiamo a pregare perché le strade di pace si possano aprire in Medioriente e in Ucraina, con l'impegno del dialogo e astenendosi da azioni violente". Il monito del Pontefice arriva mentre si intensificano gli sforzi della comunità internazionale per raggiungere un accordo sulla tregua a Gaza in occasione del prossimo round di negoziati, questa settimana al Cairo. Ma continuano purtroppo anche ad accumularsi le vittime: all'alba raid aerei israeliani su Deir al-Balah hanno ucciso 19 persone.
