Cannes, 25 mag. (askanews) - Il film rumeno "Tre chilometri fino alla fine del mondo", in corsa anche per la Palma d'Oro al festival di Cannes, ha ricevuto la Queer palm 2024, riconoscimento alternativo che premia, ogni anno, il miglior lungometraggio che affronta le questioni LGBTQI+. La pellicola, diretta da Emanuel Parvu, mostra le devastazioni dell'omofobia in un Paese dove solo la bellezza della natura allevia il peso delle tradizioni. "Parla anche di patriarcato, femminismo, non solo omosessualità, ci sono molti livelli di lettura. È un film che unisce qualcosa e che è anche molto pubblico", ha spiegato Hugo Bardin, membro della giuria, più noto con il suo nome da drag queen Paloma.
