Cecchettin, la nonna di Giulia: "Sarebbe stato giusto ci fosse Filippo Turetta"

Ha preso il via il processo a carico di Filippo Turetta, reo confesso della morte della ex fidanzata Giulia Cecchettin, uccisa con 75 coltellate, nel novembre 2023. Carla Gatto, la nonna della vittima, fuori dall'aula ricorda la nipote e commenta l'assenza del 22enne che rischia l'ergastolo: "Se fossi stata in lui sarei stata presente". La donna ha poi spiegato l'assenza della sorella di Giulia, Elena: "Studia all'estero e sta preparando la tesi in microbiologia". Mentre il fratello Davide "é andato a scuola, non si è sentito di venire". La nonna della 22enne uccisa ha poi ricordato Giulia come una "persona sempre gioiosa" e rivelato di non aver più avuto contatti con la famiglia di Turetta. Il giovane deve rispondere di omicidio volontario aggravato da premeditazione, crudeltà, efferatezza, stalking e occultamento di cadavere. In aula c'è invece Gino Cecchettin, papà di Giulia, che si è costituito parte civile assieme ad altri familiari, i comuni di Fossó e Vigonovo, e le associazioni Penelope Italia Odv e Differenza Donna.
