"Cercapersone manomessi? Ci sono infiltrati": attacco in Libano, la rivelazione di Caracciolo

"È una retrocessione tecnologica, siamo passati dallo smartphone al cercapersone, scelto da Hezbollah come mezzo di comunicazione dopo che Nasrallah (il leader, ndr) ha detto di lasciar perdere i telefoni": Lucio Caracciolo, ospite di Lilli Gruber a Otto e mezzo su La7, lo ha detto a proposito dell'attacco hacker avvenuto oggi, martedì 17 settembre, a Beirut, in Libano, e a Damasco, in Siria. I dispositivi in uso ai membri del movimento libanese sono esplosi ferendo centinaia di persone e uccidendone 15, tra cui una bambina di 10 anni. L'ufficio del premier israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu ha negato responsabilità di Tel Aviv. Nonostante questo, però, Hezbollah è convinto della colpevolezza di Israele, annunciando anche una "giusta punizione". A tal proposito Caracciolo ha detto: "Israele è passato dall'attacco soft a quello hard, probabilmente intervenendo nel processo di produzione di questi dispositivi. La domanda è come e dove l'hanno fatto. Quest'ultima fornitura arrivava dall'Iran, quindi potrebbero esserci stati degli infiltrati in Iran, ora Hezbollah è nel panico, con risultati di immagine disastrosi per l'Iran e formidabili per Israele". Secondo l'esperto, "è ovvio che c'è Israele dietro, molto spesso Israele non dichiara quello che fa". L'obiettivo di Tel Aviv - ha continuato Caracciolo - è "arrivare in tempi lunghi a una vittoria decisiva, chiudendo la partita con palestinesi e Hezbollah. Si gioca veramente tutto in questa operazione".
