Champions, il Milan cade a Leverkusen: Boniface riapre l'incubo per Fonseca

Il Milan cade con il Bayer Leverkusen e resta ancora a zero punti in Champions League. A condannare i rossoneri è un gol nella ripresa che ha di fatto chiuso la partita. Il primo tempo è a reti bianche con una prima frazione di gioco che ha visto la squadra di casa comandare il gioco e mettere in difficoltà una difesa del Milan sempre attenta. Nel finale crescono i rossoneri ma riescono ad arrivare alla conclusione solo con Pulisic. Da segnalare un gol annullato a Boniface per fuorigioco di Frimpong. Ed è proprio Boniface a portare in vantaggio il Levrekusen in avvio di ripresa. Al 51' altra azione in velocità del Bayer Leverkusen, taglio in area di Grimaldo che con un tacco serve Frimpong, conclusione di prima dell'esterno, Maignan ci mette una pezza ma non può nulla sul tap in di Boniface. Il Milan prova a reagire ma i risultati sono scarsi. Al 73' errore di Hradecky che provando un passaggio non vede arrivare Morata da dietro e per poco la palla finisce in rete. All'87 altra occasione per i rossoneri, da una punizione di Theo Hernandez, la palla finisce tra i piedi dell'inglese che calcia di potenza ma Hradecky ci mette una pezza. Il Bayer chiude davanti. Al 92' il contropiede dei tedeschi, Tella arriva al limite e da posizione defilata calcia in diagonale, palla di poco a lato. Il Milan fa un passo indietro dopo il filotto positivo in campionato.
