Cisgiordania, attivista turco-americana uccisa a Nablus: sotto accusa l'Idf

Un'attivista di origine turca ma con cittadinanza americana sarebbe stata uccisa a colpi di arma da fuoco dalle truppe israeliane durante una protesta nella città di Beita, in Cisgiordania, vicino a Nablus. Lo riporta l'agenzia palestinese Wafa. La donna, identificata come la 26enne Aysenur Ezgi Eygi, sarebbe stata colpita alla testa da un proiettile e sarebbe deceduta successivamente al Rafidia Hospital di Nablus a causa delle ferite riportate. Secondo Wafa l'attivista era coinvolta nel progetto Faz'a, che si occupa di sostenere e proteggere gli agricoltori palestinesi "dalle violazioni dei coloni e dei militari israeliani". Le forze armate israeliane stanno indagando "sulla notizia secondo cui una cittadina straniera sarebbe stata uccisa da colpi d'arma da fuoco" in Cisgiordania. "I dettagli dell'incidente e le circostanze in cui è stata colpita sono sotto inchiesta", ha detto l'Idf.
