Columbus Week, tappa a New York per il progetto Italea

New York, 12 ott. (askanews) - Tappa a New York, con sei regioni diverse, per Italea, il programma di promozione ufficiale dei viaggi delle radici del Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale all'interno del progetto PNRR e finanziato da NextGenerationEU. Molti gli appuntamenti nella settimana della Columbus Week. Li presenta Giovanni Maria De Vita, responsabile del Progetto Italea del Ministero degli Affari Esteri e della Cooperazione Internazionale, che spiega la natura dell'iniziativa e il funzionamento della piattaforma e della Italea Card: "La tappa di New York è tra le più articolate che abbiamo organizzato, nel nostro tour di promozione del progetto Italea. Importante poi l'incontro con la comunità italiana attraverso la Columbus Citizen Foundation. Il clou finale sarà nella sfilata del Columbus Day, con un gruppo di maschere che rappresentano ben 16 regioni italiane, una formazione musicale con componenti da quattro regioni, gruppi di musica popolare italiana, parteciperemo per mostrare prima di tutto la vicinanza verso i nostri connazionali all'estero ma soprattutto per pubblicizzare il progetto Italea e stimolare i viaggi delle radici ai quali ci stiamo preparando come sistema paese".
