Corruzione: Salvini, 'spero Toti resista, caso Genova gravissimo per democrazia'

Genova, 19 lug. (Adnkronos) - "Io ritengo che quello che sta accadendo a Genova sia gravissimo, ma non per la politica ma per la democrazia". Lo afferma il leader della Lega, vicepremier e ministro delle Infrastrutture Matteo Salvini intervistato su 'Radio Libertà' in merito all'inchiesta che ha portato il governatore ligure Giovanni Toti ai domiciliari dallo scorso 7 maggio per corruzione e da ieri anche per finanziamento illecito ai partiti. Per Salvini la decisione di lasciare Toti agli arresti nella sua casa di Ameglia è "una scelta politica. E' in corso un'attività politico-partitica al servizio dei partiti di sinistra, spero e conto, e lavoro perché sia così che né Giovanni Toti, né il centrodestra si arrendano e si facciano intimidire perché sarebbe un precedente pericolosissimo: non in base a un processo o una condanna ma in base a un dubbio, a un sospetto, a pezzi di intercettazione si manda a casa un sindaco, un governatore, un ministro, un governo, si rovina la vita a un imprenditore o un cittadino" aggiunge. "In un Paese civile si è colpevoli dopo tre gradi di giudizio, qua si è colpevoli dopo neanche l'inizio del processo e si è agli arresti domiciliari" conclude Salvini.
