Cortei: Meloni, 'governo non usa manganello, ma regole vanno rispettate'

Roma, 14 mag. (Adnkronos) - "Il governo non usa il manganello anche perché non è il governo che dà le indicazioni alle forze dell'ordine quando si trovano ad operare". Lo ha ribadito la presidente del Consiglio, Giorgia Meloni, in un'intervista a Milano con Maurizio Belpietro per il 'Giorno de La Verità'. Intervendo sugli scontri tra manifestanti e forze dell'ordine, "per il governo - ha messo in chiaro la premier - la libertà di manifestare andava difesa ma c'è bisogno che le regole vengano rispettate anche da chi manifesta". "Le forze dell'ordine devono garantire il diritto di manifestare nel rispetto delle regole", "l'assalto alla Cgil era libertà di manifestare? No. Andava impedito? Sì, le forze dell'ordine cercano di mantenere un equilibrio. Alcuni dei manifestanti sono dei professionisti della materia che provocano le forze dell'ordine nella speranza che qualcosa vada storto e si possa dire che il governo ha metodi autoritari", ha aggiunto. "Le forze dell'ordine non meritano l'assenza di solidarietà che talvolta si vede, meritano rispetto", ha ancora sottolineando ricordando un bilancio di 126 agenti feriti senza attestati di solidarietà: "io lezioni non le accetto, ricordo lavoratori seduti per terra su cui si sparava con l'idrante", ha dunque tuonato.
