"Il punto è che basta esaminare gli atti e non fare ipotesi e teoremi per rendersi conto che durante tutto il processo c'è stata la correttezza dell'operato di Salvini, la massima attenzione alla salute dei migranti. E che questo ritardo (nel rilascio del Pos) è minimo rispetto a quello che quotidianamente si registra quando devono sbarcare i migranti". Lo ha detto l'avvocato Giulia Bongiorno, legale di Matteo Salvini, commentando la richiesta di condanna a 6 anni di reclusione formulata dai pm oggi al termine della requisitoria del processo Open Arms. "Dai pm è stato tratteggiato un quadro non corrispondente alla realtà". Così l'avvocata Giulia Buongiorno dopo la richiesta di condanna a sei anni di carcere per Matteo Salvini, accusato di sequestro di persona e rifiuto di atti d'ufficio. "È stato detto in requisitoria che le decisioni di ritardare lo sbarco dopo le redistribuzione era esclusivamente di Salvini ma così non è, perché se andate a vedere le dichiarazioni pubbliche di atri ministri, tutti rivendicavano orgogliosamente i respingimenti", ha detto Buongiorno. Vergognoso. Difendere l'Italia non è un reato ma un dovere", scrive la Lega su Facebook. "Avanti tutta senza mollare, Matteo, sempre al tuo fianco!", rimarca il post del Carroccio. Salvini è accusato di sequestro di persona e rifiuto di atti d'ufficio per avere impedito, cinque anni fa, lo sbarco dalla ong Open Arms di 147 migranti a Lampedusa.
