Credito al consumo, Deutsche Bank e Scalapay siglano partenership

Milano, 9 mag. (askanews) - Una novità assoluta nell'evoluzione storica del credito al consumo: Scalapay, player di primo piano nel settore del "Buy Now, Pay Later", e Deutsche Bank, uno dei principali istituti bancari a livello europeo co, hanno scelto il Netcomm Forum di Milano, evento di riferimento in Italia dell'e-commerce e del digital retail, per lanciare una partnership strategica destinata a rivoluzionare il settore. "Siamo partiti come soluzione di finanziamento, di pagamento, su 3 o 4 rate sui piccoli importi nel mondo della moda. Abbiamo seguito il cliente e ci ha portato a settori come il travel, dove le persone ci utilizzano come strumento per rateizzare la vacanza. Quello che abbiamo colto da parte dei nostri partner e da parte del cliente è che per questi importi più sostanziosi c'è bisogno di una flessibilità di pagamento più lunga - spiega ad askanews Simone Mancini, ceo di Scalapay -. Quindi abbiamo collaborato, ed è da tempo che collaboriamo, con Deutsche Bank, che è uno dei colossi nel mondo del credito al consumo, uno dei player più storici anche in Italia, per offrire un pagamento che va dalle 3 o 4 rate fino alle 36 rate e copre importi fino a 15 mila euro. Quindi non soltanto il cappotto, la borsa o le scarpe, ma che arriva fino alla vacanza di famiglia". È infatti la prima volta che una fintech di questo segmento e un istituto bancario uniscono le loro forze per creare un ecosistema finanziario più integrato e innovativo: "Mentre esistono soluzioni di credito, molte di queste sono molto macchinose, non nascono come dei player digitali - sottolinea il manager -. Quindi quello che abbiamo colto da parte dei merchant: 'noi vogliamo la vostra esperienza ma su più rate'. E quindi abbinandoci con un player che sa gestire il rischio su quegli importi e su quella durata, c'è un po' di sinergia, tra la parte tecnica che sappiamo fare noi e la parte di esperienza del cliente, di unire le due cose e dare sia al merchant uno strumento che converte bene, sia al cliente un'esperienza di un pagamento flessibile molto, molto facile". Una partenership che da un lato consente a Deutsche Bank di rafforzare la propria presenza nell'e-commerce, mentre dall'altro offre a Scalapay l'opportunità di allargare ulteriormente il perimetro della propria clientela. "Sono 6 milioni di clienti - evidenzia ancora il ceo di Scalapay -. La cosa molto interessante di questa partnership che facciamo con Deutsche è che loro, che targhettizzano un cliente premium, dove c'è sempre più l'esigenza di rateizzare le spese di un certo importo, si uniscono altri 3 milioni dei loro clienti, e quindi diventa già da subito un bacino molto interessante di clienti che sono già approvati, in un certo senso, e che possono avere un'esperienza molto più fluida".
