Dalle foglie cadute alla carta sostenibile, la ricetta di Releaf Paper

(Adnkronos) - Il processo produttivo della carta incide pesantemente sullo stato di salute del nostro Pianeta, riducendo le sue riserve di ossigeno e mettendo a repentaglio i complessi equilibri della biodiversità. Il 40% dei 15 miliardi di alberi abbattuti ogni anno è infatti destinato a questo scopo. La startup francese Releaf Paper propone una soluzione originale: produrre carta utilizzando le foglie cadute. Grazie a questa intuizione, la società riesce a estrarre una tonnellata di carta ogni 2,3 tonnellate di foglie morte. In questo modo, 17 alberi sono stati messi in salvo: un risultato promettente.
