Diamond League, Duplantis e Ingebrigtsen nuovi record del mondo

Roma, 25 ago. (Adnkronos) - Nuovi record del mondo oggi 25 agosto alla Diamond League di Chorzow in Polonia con Armand "Mondo" Duplantis e Jakob Ingebrigtsen. Duplantis supera sé stesso ancora una volta e in Polonia ritocca di un centimetro il record del mondo nel salto con l'asta: 6,26 quello di oggi. Il precedente, sempre dello svedese, era stato stabilito alle Olimpiadi di Parigi 2024 il 5 agosto scorso, 6,25. E' il suo decimo record mondiale, serie iniziata nel 2020 con 6,17 e ritoccato di un centimetro per volta fino a quello di oggi. Ingebrigtsen ha fatto segnare un nuovo record del mondo invece sui 3000 metri. Il fuoriclasse norvegese ha corso in 7'17"55 ritoccando il precedente, di 28 anni fa, di 7'20"67 fatto registrare dal keniano Daniel Komen nel 1996 a Rieti.
