Esplosioni nella notte alla base militare di Kalsu in Iraq

Roma, 20 apr. (askanews) -Immagini postate sui social media delle esplosioni nella notte in una base militare nell'Iraq centrale, a Kalsu, a sud di Baghdad; la base ospita truppe dell'esercito ed ex paramilitari filo-iraniani di Hachd al- Chaabi, integrati nelle forze regolari irachene. Si era pensato, nel clima di tensione nella regione, a un bombardamento, ma sia gli Stati Uniti che Israele negano ogni coinvolgimento. Successivamente, l'ufficio comunicazioni dell'esercito iracheno ha dichiarato che "né droni né mezzi da combattimento sono stati avvistati nello spazio aereo della provincia di Babilonia prima o durante le esplosioni". Ci sarebbero comunque morti e feriti.
