Falcone: Camera ricorda strage Capaci, minuto di silenzio e standing ovation Aula

Roma, 23 mag (Adnkronos) - L'Aula della Camera ha ricordato la strage di Capaci, in cui persero la vita Giovanni Falcone con la moglie Francesca Morvillo e gli agenti Rocco Di Cillo, Antonio Montinaro e Vito Schifani. Il presidente di turno Giorgio Mulè ha chiesto un minuto di silenzio all'emiciclo, cui ha fatto seguito una standing ovation dei deputati presenti. Tutti i gruppi sono poi intervenuti per rendere omaggio alle vittime dell'attentanto del '92. "Ci sono anniversari che accendono i nostri ricordi anche se lontani nel tempo, che a ogni ripetersi ci consegnano un nuovo frammento di memoria. Sono certo che succede a ognuno di noi quando pensa al 23 maggio 1992. Ed è per questo che la strage di Capaci è parte fondante di quella memoria condivisa che è pilastro della nostra democrazia", ha detto Mulè. "Le lacrime degli italiani furono idealmente asciugate dal tricolore adagiato sui feretri di quei cinque servitori dello Stato. Poi, in nome del loro esempio, del loro sacrificio e del loro valore l'Italia ha saputo onorarli e li onora oggi come testimoni immortali dei valori alla radice del nostro vivere costituzionale", ha aggiunto tra le altre cose Mulè.
