Francesco Lollobrigida, la firma: accordo con l'Algeria sull'agricoltura sostenibile

Il ministro dell'Agricoltura, Francesco Lollobrigida, ha firmato ad Algeri con l'omologo ministro Youcef Chorfa un accordo sull'agricoltura sostenibile dal valore di 420 milioni di euro. L'accordo consiste nella concessione del governo algerino di 36.000 ettari, che la società Bonifiche Ferraresi S.p.A. recupererà all'uso agricolo, creando un'intera filiera produttiva. Le attività verranno avviate già nel 2024 tramite la creazione di pozzi e una prima semina di cereali. È il più grande investimento in agricoltura sostenibile fatto sinora dall'Italia in Nord Africa.
