G7 Agricoltura: ministro Uganda, '30 % popolazione sotto soglia povertà, servono partnership'

Siracusa, 26 set. (Adnkronos) - "L'Uganda vuole stanziare risorse per la produttività, investendo per aumentare la produzione di colture ad alta resa, bisogna sapere gestire bene il suol e il terreno. Abbiamo investito molto nei servizi. Il 30 per cento della popolazione dell'Uganda è sotto la soglia della povertà e vogliamo garantire microcrediti per le famiglie e gli agricoltori. Anche qui c'è bisogno di partnership, per quanto riguarda i macchinari". Lo ha detto il ministro dell'Agricoltura, della Pesca e della industria animale dell'Uganda Bright Rwamirama intervenendo al Forum sull'Africa al G7 Agricoltura in corso a Siracusa.
