G7, Roccella: "Prima inclusione deve essere quella delle donne"

Matera, 4 ott. (Adnkronos) - "C'è bisogno che le donne siano libere di scegliere se avere una carriera o se avere una vita privata come vogliono, avendo figli senza che questo sia una penalizzazione la prima inclusione da realizzare è quella delle donne. Non siamo ancora a una piena inclusione delle donne, che purtroppo sono trattate ancora come una minoranza". Ad affermarlo è il ministro per le Pari Opportunità Eugenia Maria Roccella che è intervenuta alla “G7 – Industry Stakeholders Conference: Bridging Gaps and Building Futures”, organizzata a margine della Ministeriale G7 sulle Pari Opportunità a Matera e commentando la nota del B7 Flash di Confindustria e Deloitte che ha sottolineato come diversità e inclusione generino profitti. "La prima forma di inclusione è dunque quella di raggiungere obiettivi di parità fra uomo e donna, lavorando anche sulla lotta contro la violenza sulle donne, che è un enorme problema, e dall'altra parte la parità nei ruoli apicali e nel lavoro", aggiunge il ministro.
