Gaza, Blinken lascia l'Egitto e vola in Qatar

Il Segretario di Stato americano Antony Blinken è partito per il Qatar dopo aver tenuto dei colloqui in Egitto nel tentativo di garantire un accordo di cessate il fuoco a Gaza. Prima di recarsi a Doha da El Alamein, Blinken ha incontrato il Presidente egiziano Abdel Fattah al-Sisi e il Ministro degli Esteri Badr Abdelatty. Quei colloqui sono avvenuti dopo che Blinken ha dichiarato lunedì che Israele aveva accettato una proposta per superare le divergenze che bloccavano un cessate il fuoco e il rilascio degli ostaggi a Gaza. Ha chiesto a Hamas di fare lo stesso. È il nono viaggio di Blinken in Medioriente da quando è iniziata la guerra a Gaza più di 10 mesi fa.
