Giappone: spesa famiglie -1,8% a maggio

Tokio, 5 lug. (Adnkronos/Xinhua) - La spesa reale delle famiglie giapponesi a maggio ha registrato il primo calo in due mesi, riducendosi dell'1,8% rispetto a un anno prima, come hanno mostrato i dati governativi venerdì, tra l'impennata dei prezzi e la flessione dello yen. Le famiglie di due o più persone hanno speso in media 290.328 yen (circa 800 dollari), invertendo l'aumento dello 0,5% registrato ad aprile, secondo i dati del Ministero degli Affari Interni e delle Comunicazioni. Su base destagionalizzata, la spesa è diminuita dello 0,3% rispetto al mese precedente. Per categoria, la spesa alimentare, che rappresenta circa un terzo della spesa delle famiglie, si è ridotta del 3,1% su base annua in termini reali, in quanto le persone hanno speso meno per verdure e cibi cotti durante il periodo di riferimento. Le spese per la cultura e le attività ricreative sono diminuite dell'8,4% a maggio, a causa della riduzione della spesa per i pacchetti turistici all'estero, che ha risentito del persistente deprezzamento dello yen nei confronti delle altre valute principali.
