Harry e Meghan in Colombia tra spettacoli e lotta al cyberbullismo

Roma, 16 ago. (askanews) - Il principe Harry e sua moglie Meghan Markle sono arrivati in Colombia su invito della vicepresidente Francia Marquez, per una visita che si concluderà il 18 agosto. Nel loro primo giorno a Bogotà hanno incontrato Marquez e assistito a uno spettacolo tradizionale presso il Centro nazionale per le arti, sono apparsi sorridenti, accompagnati da ballerini e attori. La coppia ha poi preso parte al panel su un "Futuro digitale responsabile". Durante la visita nel Paese infatti parteciperanno a diversi incontri con donne e giovani, con l'obiettivo di provare a combattere la discriminazione e il cyber-bullismo che dilagano in particolare con le nuove tecnologie. Meghan, parlando in pubblico, ha detto che in questo momento, come madre, ha molto a cuore la sicurezza dei figli, quindi l'argomento dei social, e dei pericoli del digitale, lo sente particolarmente vicino. Le ha fatto eco Harry: "Io e mia moglie crediamo che l'integrità delle informazioni sia un diritto fondamentale - ha deetto - ma finché alle persone sarà permesso di diffondere menzogne, abusare, molestare senza pagare conseguenze", ci saranno sempre pericoli e il mondo sarà diviso.
