Il tifone Yagi, la frana in diretta sulla testa dei passanti

Una frana si stacca e blocca una strada nella provincia di Ha Giang, in Vietnam. E' una delle conseguenze del passaggio del tifone Yagi che ha causato nel Paese forti piogge, inondazioni e smottamenti. I morti, al momento, sono 87, circa 70 i dispersi e centinaia i feriti, secondo l'ultimo bilancio provvisorio diffuso dalle autorità locali. Il tifone Yagi si è abbattuto sul Paese sabato con venti fino a 149 km orari ed è considerata la tempesta più forte negli ultimi decenni. A Cao Bang, una delle province più colpite, 19 persone sono morte e altre 36 risultano disperse in seguito a una serie di frane verificatesi in aree montuose. Le piogge prolungate e intense hanno causato gravi smottamenti anche nella provincia di Lao Cai, dove altre 20 persone hanno perso la vita. I nubifragi hanno anche gonfiato il fiume ad Hanoi, obbligando i residenti delle zone limitrofe a evacuare le loro abitazioni sulle rive del fiume nella capitale.
