Innovazione, Rutelli (Anica): "Gazometro finalmente fruibile a grande pubblico"

Roma, 7 lug. (Adnkronos) - “Il Gazometro di Roma non solo è il più alto d'Europa ma è uno dei posti più singolari al mondo. Un tempo luogo abbandonato al degrado e all'inquinamento, dopo il graduale intervento di bonifica da parte di Eni, negli anni passati, in modo lungimirante è oggi un luogo in cui l'archeologia industriale incontra le nuovissime tecnologie digitali”. Lo ha detto Francesco Rutelli, presidente di Anica, in occasione della settima edizione di ‘Videocittà 2024', festival della visione e della cultura digitale, progetto finanziato dalla Commissione Europea dal 5 al 7 luglio nel Complesso Eni del Gazometro Ostiense. “Qui sotto – ha ricordato ricorda Rutelli – è sepolto il carbone con cui per decenni è stata illuminata Roma. Oggi, invece, dopo la trasformazione di questo sito, diamo spazio all'arte digitale, una meravigliosa opportunità per il grande pubblico, giovani, famiglie e talenti di prim'ordine a livello internazionale. Questa è la Roma che amiamo”.
