Le sirene di allarme aereo sono risuonate in decine di città e paesi nel nord e nel centro di Israele, per i razzi lanciati da Hezbollah Le sirene sono state udite a Tel Aviv e nelle città di Kfar Sab e Ra'anana, nel centro di Israele. Forti boati sono stati uditi nella zona di Sharon. Un razzo ha danneggiato l'autostrada Kafr Qasim ma ci son anche due feriti lievi: un conducente di autobus e un motociclistaIl movimento estremista scita libanese ha rivendicato gli attacchi, affermando di aver lanciato i missili Fadi-4 contro la base di Glilot, vicino a Herzliya, poco distante da Tel Aviv. La base è la sede dell'Unità 8200 delle Forze di difesa israeliane (Idf) e del quartier generale del Mossad.
