Italia-Gb: Meloni, 'intensificare relazioni economiche'

Roma, 16 set. (Adnkronos) - "Le relazioni economiche sono particolarmente intense sul piano degli investimenti e delle comunità che vi sono impegnate, è un lavoro che vogliamo intensificare e portare avanti". Lo ha assicurato la premier Giorgia Meloni, al termine dell'incontro a Roma, a Villa Doria Pamphilij, con il primo ministro britannico Keir Starmer. "Questa mattina - ha rimarcato Meloni - il primo ministro ha incontrato diversi amministratori delegati di importanti società sia italiane che del Regno Unito e ci sono molti terreni nuovi che crediamo si possano esplorare. Penso che l'annuncio di investimenti per 500 milioni di euro che arriva proprio oggi non possa che confermare questa volontà di rafforzare la nostra cooperazione bilaterale, di rafforzare il nostro commercio bilaterale". Inoltre, "sempre guardando all'innovazione lavoriamo a un protocollo sulla scienza che fa parte del più ampio dialogo bilaterale su scienza, innovazione e tecnologia. Come stiamo lavorando insieme per utilizzare al meglio le opportunità di studio esistenti e massimizzare le possibilità di scambio e di formazione dei nostri studenti, anche esplorando soluzioni innovative".
