"Lavoravo all'Europarlamento, perché mi sono licenziato": la storia che sconvolge Roma

Alzi la mano chi almeno una volta nella propria esistenza non ha pensato di mollare tutto per cambiare vita. Ma non ci sono solamente persone che sognano a occhi aperti. C'è anche chi trova il coraggio di lasciare tutto e iniziare una nuova avventura. E' la storia del 39enne Riccardo Peregrino che da assitente all'europalrmento è diventato cameriere. E se per molti questo racconto ha dell'assurdo, per il giovane ragazzo sarebbe assurdo tornare nella sua città natale. "Quando rientro a Roma per andare a trovare parenti e amici devo scappare dopo pochi giorni: non sopporto più il traffico, l'odore dello smog. Della mia città non mi manca nulla. Mi piace vivere lavorando il giusto, in un luogo a misura d'uomo, ricco di natura, circondato dalle montagne. Qui si respira un'aria positiva, dove non importa a nessuno chi dici di essere, conta solo chi sei". Riccardo è volato in Spagna insieme alla sua compagna Miriam, conosciuta durante il Cammino di Santiago. Per il 39enne romano la domanda da farsi è solo una. "Sono felice"?. Ed è proprio da questo quesito che ha avuto iniziato il cambiamento di Riccardo. Dopo il cammino di Santiago il suo cuore l'ha portato ad abbandonare quello che era sempre stato il suo sogno e così dopo essersi licenziato, è andato a lavorare come cameriere, insegnante di italiano a domicilio e, occasionalmente, per fare la pasta.
