Hassan Nasrallah è morto e non mancherà a nessuno, nemmeno a quel che resta di Hezbollah. Per il Libano e il mondo è una buona notizia. Le parole più giuste le ha usate Joe Biden: «La sua morte è una misura di giustizia». Così il Presidente degli Stati Uniti ha avvisato l'ayatollah Ali Khamenei, il burattinaio spirituale e materiale di Hamas a Gaza, di Hezbollah in Libano e degli Houthi nello Yemen: se l'Iran attacca, non solo Israele, anche gli Stati Uniti risponderanno. È a Teheran che bisogna guardare per capire la parabola della guerra in Medio Oriente. La scena è quella dei turbanti in fuga, il regime iraniano è scosso, i suoi capi sanno che l'esercito israeliano può colpirli ovunque, l'operazione da manuale dell'intelligence che ha fatto esplodere i cercapersone di Hezbollah in Libano e in Siria ha seminato il panico nei signori della guerra antisemita. Tre fatti hanno profondamente indebolito Khamenei e le Guardie della Rivoluzione, i Pasdaran: il 3 gennaio del 2020 un missile hellfire elimina all'aeroporto di Baghdad il generale Qassem Soleimani, l'architetto della guerra dell'Iran, l'ordine arriva da Donald Trump, per Khamenei è un colpo durissimo; quattro anni dopo, il 31 luglio 2024, Ismail Haniyeh, il capo di Hamas, viene ucciso a Teheran da una bomba piazzata nel suo alloggio, considerato sicuro proprio perché protetto dai Pasdaran, un altro “buco” nello scudo iraniano; due mesi dopo, il 27 settembre, il capo di Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, fa la stessa fine a Beirut nel suo bunker, gli israeliani lo radono al suolo con un bombardamento che non lascia scampo. Il conflitto non è finito, ma il network del terrore iraniano è disarticolato. Israele ha prima smantellato Hamas nella Striscia di Gaza e - quando Nasrallah pensava di capitalizzare il tempo e colpire Gerusalemme - ha giocato d'anticipo con una serie di strike aerei preventivi, decapitando il vertice di Hezbollah, preparando il terreno per altre azioni militari. Siamo solo all'inizio del risiko, ma niente sarà più come prima. Hanyeh è morto, Nasrallah è morto, Yahya Sinwar è braccato, Bibi Nethanyahu sta vincendo la guerra. Un anno dopo, l'orrore scatenato dalla caccia all'ebreo del 7 ottobre si è trasformato in un errore strategico dei nemici di Israele. Non è tempo di pace, perché la guerra ha le sue regole e la storia insegna che alla fine i cattivi perdono sempre.
