Mattarella: conseguenze nefaste dei ritardi sul clima sotto gli occhi

Bonn, 28 set. (askanews) - "Le conseguenze dei nostri ritardi sono sotto gli occhi di tutti e sempre nefaste. L'intensificazione della frequenza delle catastrofi naturali è sotto gli occhi di tutti e condiziona ogni aspetto della nostra vita, devastando interi territori, mietendo vittime". Lo ha detto il presidente della Repubblica, Sergio Mattarella, intervenendo al seminario sul clima organizzato dalle Nazioni unite a Bonn. "Le conseguenze del cambiamento climatico, e dei nostri ritardi nella sua mitigazione, privano dell'elementare diritto alla vita molte persone, costringendole spesso alla fuga dai luoghi che abitano, in cerca di sopravvivenza", ha avvertito il capo dello Stato. "Se vogliamo lasciare un Pianeta dove l'umanità possa vivere e prosperare ovunque e in pace - ha aggiunto - dovremmo compiere tutti insieme progressi decisivi. Germania e Italia possono dare un esempio concreto di responsabilità e cooperazione".
