Migranti, Piantedosi: "Interesse Starmer per modello Italia"

Il Primo Ministro britannico Keir Starmer questa mattina a Roma, accompagnato dal Ministro dell'Interno Matteo Piantedosi, ha visitato il Centro nazionale di coordinamento per l'immigrazione istituito al Dipartimento per la pubblica sicurezza. È quanto si legge in una nota. “È stata l'occasione - ha commentato il Ministro Piantedosi - per far conoscere il nostro sistema di coordinamento dei controlli delle frontiere. È una grande soddisfazione l'interesse che ha mostrato il primo ministro britannico per il modello italiano e per tutte le iniziative che abbiamo sviluppato nei confronti dei Paesi di origine e di transito dei migranti”. “Questa visita - ha concluso il titolare del Viminale - favorisce un ulteriore rafforzamento della collaborazione con il Regno Unito, un partner molto importante sia a livello bilaterale sia a livello internazionale”.
