Mo: Bonelli, 'Israele rispetti decisione Aja su Rafah, Hamas liberi ostaggi'

Roma, 24 mag. (Adnkronos) - “La notizia che la Corte Internazionale di Giustizia dell'Aja ha ordinato a Israele di fermare l'offensiva militare di terra a Rafah, nel sud della Striscia di Gaza, rappresenta una buona notizia. La situazione umanitaria a Rafah è disastrosa, con 1,5 milioni di sfollati palestinesi che hanno trovato rifugio in questa zona". Così il deputato di Avs, Angelo Bonelli. "Inoltre, Israele deve mantenere aperto il valico di Rafah per consentire l'ingresso degli aiuti umanitari necessari a soccorrere queste persone in difficoltà. Sino ad oggi 35 mila civili palestinesi , maggioranza donne e bambini , sono stati uccisi Il governo israeliano non può considerarsi al di sopra del diritto internazionale. È essenziale che tutte le nazioni rispettino le regole stabilite dalla comunità internazionale per prevenire crimini di guerra e violazioni dei diritti umani. L'ordine della Corte Internazionale di Giustizia deve essere rispettato immediatamente, per porre fine alle sofferenze della popolazione civile a Rafah e ristabilire il rispetto delle leggi internazionali. Per quanto riguarda Hamas deve liberare gli ostaggi e dare un segnale chiaro ed immediato", conclude.
