Mo: G7, evitare ulteriore escalation, no azioni volte ad acuire tensione nella regione

Roma, 14 apr. (Adnkronos) - Il Presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni ha presieduto oggi una riunione in videoconferenza dei Capi di Stato e di Governo G7, convocata in seguito all'attacco iraniano contro Israele. Al termine della discussione, i Leader G7 hanno adottato una dichiarazione congiunta che condanna fermamente il lancio di droni e missili dall'Iran, ribadendo pieno sostegno alla sicurezza di Israele. I G7 hanno sottolineato l'esigenza di evitare un'ulteriore escalation, invitando le parti ad astenersi da azioni volte ad acuire la tensione nella Regione. A tale scopo, i G7 hanno rivolto un appello per porre fine alla crisi a Gaza attraverso la cessazione delle ostilità e il rilascio degli ostaggi da parte di Hamas. Hanno infine garantito la prosecuzione dell'aiuto umanitario verso la popolazione palestinese". E' quanto si legge nel comunicato stampa diffuso al termine del G7 di oggi, presieduto da Palazzo Chigi, dal premier italiano, Giorgia Meloni.
