Città del Vaticano, 5 ago. (askanews) - In Medio Oriente "gli attacchi, anche mirati, non possono essere la soluzione, non aiutano a percorrere il cammino della pace ma seminano ancora di più vendetta". Lo ha detto Papa Francesco dopo la recita dell'Angelus a Piazza San Pietro. "Seguo con preoccupazione quanto sta accadendo in Medio Oriente e auspico che il conflitto, già terribilmente sanguinoso e violento, non si estenda ancora di più. Prego per tutte vittime, in particolare per i bambini innocenti". Lo ha detto Papa Francesco dopo l'Angelus davanti a fedeli e pellegrini riuniti in Piazza San Pietro. "Si abbia il coraggio di riprendere il dialogo perché cessi subito il fuoco a Gaza e, su tutti i fronti, si liberino gli ostaggi, si soccorrano le popolazioni con gli aiuti umanitari", ha aggiunto il Santo Padre.
