Morte Satnam Singh, arrestato Antonello Lovato: la perizia medica spedisce in carcere il titolare dell'azienda

A distanza di due settimane, scattano le manette. I carabinieri della compagnia di Latina hanno eseguito un'ordinanza di custodia cautelare in carcere, emessa dal gip di Latina, nei confronti di Antonello Lovato, titolare dell'azienda nella quale lavorava Satnam Singh, il 31enne indiano deceduto il 19 giugno scorso dopo essere rimasto vittima, nei giorni precedenti, di un incidente sul lavoro a Latina. In base alle risultanze della consulenza medico legale la procura ha infatti variato l'ipotesi di reato inizialmente configurata (omicidio colposo) ed ha contestato il reato di omicidio doloso con dolo eventuale. La consulenza medico legale ha accertato che dove l'indiano, deceduto per la copiosa perdita di sangue, fosse stato tempestivamente soccorso, si sarebbe con ogni probabilità salvato. Le condizioni del lavoratore dopo l'infortunio sono risultate talmente gravi da rendere evidente la necessità di un tempestivo soccorso. Allo stato deve dunque ritenersi che la decisione di omettere il doveroso soccorso abbia costituito accettazione del rischio dell'evento letale ed abbia integrato la causa che ha direttamente determinato il decesso. Le indagini proseguono con l'obiettivo di valutare altri eventuali delitti connessi, con riguardo specificamente all'accertamento delle condizioni di lavoro. Dopo la notizia dell'arresto, immediata la presa di posizione di Gurmukh Singh, presidente della comunità indiana del Lazio: "Stavamo aspettando questa notizia, eravamo arrabbiati", ha premesso. "La cosa più brutta che ha fatto è stata quella di lasciarlo davanti alla sua abitazione invece di portarlo all'ospedale. Un incidente può capitare, ma non chiamare i soccorsi è inammissibile", conclude Gurmukh Singh.
