Roma, 2 lug. (Adnkronos) - "Satnam Singh poteva essere salvato. Lo scrive nero su bianco il Gip che ha convalidato l'arresto del suo datore di lavoro a Latina. Un fatto importante, ma che non può restare isolato". Così il capogruppo Pd in commissione Lavoro alla Camera, Arturo Scotto. "Lo Stato dovrebbe arrivare prima della magistratura, anche perché in questi anni evidentemente i controlli sono stati pochi. Qui non siamo solo davanti a un omicidio: bisogna cambiare tutto il sistema che condanna migliaia di lavoratori allo schiavismo e al caporalato. Siamo disposti a discutere con il governo se si fa sul serio, non se si usa sempre la solita retorica. Serve una svolta per abolire la Bossi-Fini e introdurre gli indici di congruità in agricoltura per evitare abusi e lavoro nero", conclude Scotto.
