"Motivi di salute": Verdini, concessa la detenzione domiciliare per 7 mesi

A Denis Verdini, ex parlamentare di Forza Italia, è stata concessa la detenzione domiciliare per 7 mesi per motivi di salute: a deciderlo il tribunale di sorveglianza di Firenze nonostante l'opposizione della procura generale. Lo ha riferito, nel pomeriggio, l'avvocato Marco Rocchi, il quale ha detto che l'ex Coordinatore nazionale del partito di Silvio Berlusconi è arrivato oggi pomeriggio nella sua villa di Firenze dove sconterà il periodo di pena: "È appena arrivato a casa". Lì potrà ricevere le cure necessarie. L'ex parlamentare, 73 anni, è stato condannato, sulla base di tre sentenze, per reati di bancarotta, a un cumulo di pena di 15 anni e 10 mesi: 6 anni per bancarotta nelle vicende del Credito Cooperativo Fiorentino; 5 anni e 6 mesi per il fallimento della Società Toscana Edizioni e 3 anni e 10 mesi per il fallimento di un'impresa edile di Campi Bisenzio. Inizialmente era detenuto nel carcere fiorentino di Sollicciano, poi il peggioramento delle sue condizioni di salute aveva reso necessario il suo trasferimento nel carcere don Bosco di Pisa, che ha un centro clinico. Il suo difensore, però, aveva fatto di nuovo istanza per l'incompatibilità dello stato di salute dell'ex banchiere con la detenzione in carcere. Il 30 maggio c'era stata l'udienza al tribunale di sorveglianza.
