L'uccisione del leader di Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, nei raid israeliani su Beirut è stata salutata con entusiasmo ad Eilat, una città dello stato di Israele posta sulle rive del Mar Rosso: in un video diventato virale online si vedono i bagnanti ospiti di alcuni lidi che esultano e applaudono quando un bagnino annuncia l'uccisione di Nasrallah in un attacco a Beirut. Nasrallah era, fino a questo momento, uno dei bersagli più potenti da fare fuori. Nel frattempo diventano sempre più intensi i combattimenti contro il gruppo sciita. Festeggiamenti per l'evento ci sono stati anche in Siria e nello stesso Libano: l'annuncio della morte del leader di Hezbollah, confermato dall'esercito israeliano, ha portato diversi gruppi di persone a scendere in strada per festeggiare in alcune zone dei due Paesi, come testimoniano numerosi video pubblicati sui social. A condannare l'uccisione di Nasrallah, invece, è stata la Russia di Vladimir Putin, che allo stesso tempo ha esortato Israele a porre immediatamente fine alle ostilità. A dirlo il ministero degli Esteri di Mosca citato dalla Tass. Nel frattempo, il premier israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu è atterrato in Israele dove è rientrato prima del previsto dagli Stati Uniti a seguito dell'uccisione del leader di Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah. Lo scrive il Times of Israel. Netanyahu andrà direttamente dall'aeroporto Ben Gurion a una consultazione sulla sicurezza, secondo quanto riportato dai media.
