Nato: 'you'll never walk alone' intonata da militari chiude cerimonia commemorativa

Washington, 10 lug. (Adnkronos) - 'You'll Never Walk Alone', scritta dalla coppia statunitense Rodgers-Hammerstein per il musical del 1945 Carousel, chiude la cerimonia per il 75esimo anniversario dell'Alleanza atlantica al Mellon Auditorium di Washington DC, alla presenza del Presidente statunitense Joe Biden. 'Non camminerai mai da solo', il titolo in italiano del celebre motivo, è stato intonato da militari, uomini e donne, saliti sul palco per rimarcare con il noto motivo musicale i valori su cui l'Alleanza è nata 75 anni fa e su cui continua a reggere. In Europa, per via di una cover realizzata dal gruppo di Liverpool 'Gerry and the Pacemakers', il motivo è diventato così celebre da diventare l'inno ufficiale della squadra di calcio inglese del Liverpool.
