Nave Life Support di Emergency salva 37 persone in zona Sar maltese

Roma, 9 ago. (askanews) - nude con video mandati in posta Nella notte tra l'8 e il 9 agosto la Life Support, nave di ricerca e soccorso di Emergency ha portato in salvo 37 persone che si trovavano a bordo di una imbarcazione in difficoltà, in acque internazionali nella zona Sar maltese. Il caso è stato segnalato da Alarm Phone alle 22.30 circa dell'8 agosto e l'avvistamento della piccola barca in vetroresina e sovraffollata è avvenuto il 9 agosto poco dopo mezzanotte. Il salvataggio si è concluso con il trasferimento in sicurezza dei 37 naufraghi, tutti uomini e di cui un minore non accompagnato, all'1.30 circa. I 37 naufraghi soccorsi dalla Life Support hanno riferito di essere partiti la sera del 7 agosto alle ore 22 da Sirte, in Libia, e di essere senza acqua da oltre un giorno; dicono di provenire da Egitto, Eritrea, Siria e Bangladesh. Dopo aver completato il soccorso e aver informato le autorità competenti, alla Life Support è stato assegnato dall'MRCC italiano (Maritime Rescue Coordination Center) il POS (Place of safety) di Ortona come porto di sbarco.
