C'è una polemica che, travalicando la dimensione regionale in cui è nata, sta conquistando l'attenzione dell'opinione pubblica a livello nazionale: una delibera della giunta abruzzese si pone l'obiettivo dell'abbattimento da parte di cacciatori specializzati di 469 cervi, giunti a un livello di sovrappopolazione, in alcune aree della regione, in una forbice temporale che va dal 14 ottobre al prossimo 15 marzo. Sollevazione di associazioni animaliste, vip e intellettuali. D'altronde, la figura del cervo muove l'immaginario sentimentale.
