Netanyahu: eliminare Hamas è la priorità assoluta

Gerusalemme, 20 ago. (askanews) - "La priorità assoluta è eliminare Hamas e garantire la vittoria. Stiamo progredendo passo dopo passo. Tre mesi fa, prima che entrassimo a Rafah, alcuni dicevano che non si poteva fare nulla, ma si può fare molto. Nel frattempo, abbiamo eliminato Deif e altri comandanti chiave. Abbiamo anche conquistato il corridoio di Filadelfia e il valico di Rafah. Stiamo applicando tutta la forza necessaria per smantellare il dominio di Hamas e le sue capacità militari, e stiamo facendo progressi". Così il presidente israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu durante un incontro a Gaza a cui hanno partecipato anche familiari degli ostaggi ancora nelle mani di Hamas.
