Non è l'invasione dell'Iran, impossibile dal punto di vista politico e militare, il disegno di Benjamin Netanyahu. L'obiettivo è un altro, e per capirlo bisogna tornare alla Berlino divisa, alla Porta di Brandeburgo e al 12 giugno 1987. Quel giorno Ronald Reagan, presidente degli Stati Uniti, si rivolse al capo dell'Unione sovietica: «Mister Gorbaciov, abbatta questo muro!». In realtà parlava ai berlinesi dell'est e a tutti coloro che stavano al di là della cortina: «Oggi a Berlino ovest c'è la più grande produzione industriale di tutta la Germania: palazzi pieni di uffici, belle case e appartamenti, viali orgogliosi e parchi pieni di prati.
