New York, protesta filo-palestinese fuori dall'hotel di Netanyahu

New York, 27 set. (askanews) - La polizia ha fermato diversi manifestanti filo-palestinesi durante una manifestazione a New York fuori dall'hotel in cui alloggiava il primo ministro israeliano Benjamin Netanyahu, in vista del suo discorso all'Assemblea Generale delle Nazioni Unite. Israele ha giurato di combattere gli Hezbollah libanesi "fino alla vittoria", respingendo l'appello dei leader occidentali al cessate il fuoco e continuando con massicci attacchi aerei sul Libano orientale e meridionale. La polizia ha dichiarato che sono stati effettuati diversi arresti ma non ha ancora fornito un numero esatto. Manifestazioni anche in altre aree della città: tutte per chiedere agli Stati Uniti e agli alleati di fare di più per promuovere la pace.
