Nutrizionista, 'birra bevanda più antica, benefica ma in piccole dosi'

Roma, 2 ago. (Adnkronos Salute) - E' piacevole per una serata tra amici e, "in piccole dosi, può essere anche benefica". Ad elogiare "la bevanda più antica del mondo", la birra, il nutrizionista Ciro Vestita che all'Adnkronos Salute ne elenca le caratteristiche in occasione della Giornata internazionale della birra che si celebra oggi. Questa bevanda, continua, "permette al cervello di liberare endorfine. Un piccolo bicchiere di birra a fine giornata, davanti a una pizza non può che essere che positivo. Ovviamente è alcolica, quindi bisogna stare attenti, non superare mai le dosi", continua Vestita che racconta: "Sappiamo che le prime viti furono piantate nella Georgia, vicino alla Russia, 15 mila anni fa per il vino. Ma sappiamo anche che gli egizi usavano la birra già 20 mila anni fa: è una bevanda antichissima". Per quanto riguarda i benefici è "diuretica, depurativa, disintossicante. Con caratteristiche diverse a seconda dei vari tipi di birra. L'importante, ripeto, è non esagerare, perché è alcolica e le dosi vanno limitate".
