Olimpiade: Meloni, 'spiace cerimonia percepita come divisiva'

Pechino, 30 lug. (Adnkronos) - Quella di apertura delle Olimpiadi di Parigi "mi dispiace che sia stata percepita come una cerimonia divisiva, perché la Francia e l'Europa hanno una straordinaria storia e cultura da raccontare attraverso un evento del genere e della quale potrebbero andare tutti fieri". Lo ha detto la presidente del Consiglio Giorgia Meloni, in un punto stampa a Pechino. "Io purtroppo non l'ho vista - ha precisato-, perché ero in aereo, ho visto chiaramente le polemiche, non ho tutti gli elementi per giudicare, so che la polemica è riferita particolarmente a una simbologia che ricordava l'ultima cena dalla quale molti sono sentiti offesi, non solo esponenti della maggioranza ma anche esponenti della Chiesa Cattolica ad esempio. Poi non ho capito se effettivamente fosse un riferimento o meno all'ultima cena".
