Oropan presenta a Cibus il pane con filiera sostenibile certificata

Parma, 9 mag. (askanews) - Il pane, protagonista indiscusso della dieta mediterranea, diventa un modello di produzione e distribuzione sostenibile, che tutela la biodiversità, valorizza il territorio e contribuisce al benessere delle persone e dell'ambiente. Il primo pane fresco al mondo da filiera sostenibile certificata è stato presentato al Cibus di Parma da Oropan Spa di Altamura. "Noi stiamo ridisegnando il futuro dell'alimentazione - ha spiegato Lucia Forte, amministratore delegato di Oropan Spa -: stiamo proponendo un nuovo modo di interpretare e consumare il pane quotidiano. Infatti oggi si sta lanciando il primo pane al mondo da filiera sostenibile e certificato, SCC Plus, fatto con semola rimacinata di grano duro 100% pugliese". "Avere una filiera certificata dal seme alla coltivazione del grano duro che selezioniamo e impieghiamo nei nostri processi produttivi - la raccolta, la molitura, la trasformazione in prodotto finito fino alla consegna presso i punti vendita - significa garantire un pane che è ottenuto da un modello di produzione e distribuzione responsabile, etico e sostenibile che valorizzi il territorio, contribuisca al benessere delle persone e tuteli l'ambiente" ha aggiunto l'imprenditrice. Attraverso il processo messo a punto da Oropan sono garantiti cinque requisiti; un ente di certificazione terzo e autorevole ne verifica la sussistenza lungo tutta la filiera: "tutela della biodiversità; protezione del suolo, dell'area e dell'acqua; zero deforestazione; tutela dei diritti umani con focus su salute e sicurezza sui luoghi di lavoro; equa distribuzione del valore aggiunto lungo tutta la filiera". "Abbiamo pensato anche di proteggere il nostro prodotto in termini di sicurezza alimentare - ha aggiunto Forte - garantendo un'elevata conservabilità e quindi che mantenga le sue caratteristiche organolettiche sensoriali in termini di profumo, croccantezza, sofficità della mollica fino a cinque giorni, grazie a un packaging in carta, riciclabile nella carta e certificato FSC, quindi ottenuto da fonti gestite in maniera responsabile. Questo è veramente un grande passo in avanti e dimostra come sia possibile prendersi cura del palato e deliziare il palato promuovendo uno stile di vita sano, vario ed equilibrato".
