Papa “Trovare soluzioni di pace per le guerre che insanguinano il mondo”

ROMA (ITALPRESS) – Papa Francesco è tornato a invocare che si faccia di tutto perchè cessino le guerre “che insanguinano il mondo”. “Penso alla martoriata Ucraina, al Myanmar, penso al Medio Oriente. Quante vittime innocenti. Penso alle mamme che hanno perso i figli in guerra. Quante giovani vite stroncate” ha detto il Santo Padre in occasione dell'Angelus domenicale a Piazza San Pietro. “Prego per le vittime e continuo a essere vicino a tutte le famiglie degli ostaggi. Cessi il conflitto in Palestina e Israele. Cessino le violenze, l'odio e si rilascino gli ostaggi e proseguano i negoziati per trovare una soluzione di pace” ha concluso il Pontefice che ha anche rivolto un pensiero alle popolazioni del Vietnam e del Myanmar “che soffrono a causa delle inondazioni provocate da un violento tifone. Prego per i defunti, per i feriti, gli sfollati. Dio sostenga quanti hanno perso i loro cari e la casa”. Infine ricordando che oggi in Italia si celebra la giornata dei malati di Sla, ha assicurato “un ricordo per loro nella mia preghiera, per i loro familiari e incoraggio il lavoro della ricerca su questa patologia e le associazioni di volontariato”. foto: Agenzia Fotogramma (ITALPRESS).
